The Right Way to Silicone

Silicone is an important part of any successful shower screen installation. Incorrect use can lead to water leakage and unhappy customers, so we thought we would run through the right way to silicone a shower screen.

Apply the silicone vertically on the inside and outside of the shower screen – where the screen is fixed to the walls. You can then apply the silicon on the outside bottom of the frame – where the screen sits on the base. Do not silicone the inside bottom of the frame. This allows any water trapped in the frame to drain back into the shower waste.
